This liquid drink is a strong one, stocked with lots of immune-boosting goodness! A great one to take if attending a function or visiting a home where sickness abounds! As its strong, don’t take over an excess of 1 week.
- 3-4 inch piece of ginger
- 4-5 C water
- 1 lemon
- 20 drops echinacea herbal tincture (optional)
- 2-3 Tbs raw honey OR 5-6 stevia drops for optional sweetener
Directions: scrape skin from ginger, slice into rings and boil with water in a covered pot. Simmer 30 min. Cool to room temperature and add honey. Squeeze lemon and add echinacea drops. Shake to mix well. Drink from a non-reactive water bottle. If refrigerating, keep in sealed container. Drink by nightfall.
